After a beautiful fall we were greeted with a layer of wet snow on Friday.Here a Downy Woodpecker and a House Sparrow are checking out the suet.

We had several school buses get stuck,mine being one of them.
This is the not so fun part of winter,but I still think it looks
lovely with the fresh snow.

ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pictures these are. Definitely I am not ready for snow yet, but we all have to adjust with the weather displaying the upper hand. What a difficult job it must be getting your bus on the road on days like these. As a retired schoolteacher I am only too familiar with stormy days and bad roads. We have just returned home from a road trip to Montreal and had our snow tires put on before we left, just in case. But the only white we encountered was the white of Snowgeese in the fields.
