The late blooming Calendula certainly brightens up the fall garden.In summer I would take these flowers forgranted but now they
make me stop and take note of them.
I'm thankful for diversity in nature.

These are such wonderful pictures - so colourful! I like your photos of the Blue Jay and Meadowlark in their natural settings - I do remember the Meadowlark from when I lived in Manitoba. Its spring song is very beautiful. The creek area looks like a nice place to explore.

I enjoy my calendulas most in winter when their orange glows against the green and not much else is about.
I adore your birds, either you have a lens from here to the moon or a quiet heart so they let you near, I suspect the latter.

Your pictures are wonderful! You don't have to look very far even this time of year to find beauty. That red leaf is very striking against the rock, and that creek is quite similar to the one that runs behind our home.
