Some Older Pictures

This is our local Art Gallery in downtown Morden.
Jake took this on an early morning walk.
My mistake, some of you may have seen this
referred to as our Library. It used to be that
but is now the Art Gallery.
These wind turbines are located northwest of the town of Manitou in the St, Leon area. A Yellow-bellied Sapsucker at a nest site. Overlooking the scenic Pembina Valley area. I did not see the Hawk in the picture until I had put it onto the computer.Sometimes luck is on my side. A creative shot of grain heads after a rain. All these pictures were taken in 2006. May you walk with Him And dwell in His love As he sends you good gifts From heaven above. Being able to enjoy the variety and beauty in nature is one of those good gifts.

  3. Beautiful images. I especially like the grain shot but then I really like the macro shots so why wouldn't I like it. They are all wonderful. The library must be a beautiful site in the Christmas season.

  4. These are beautiful, Ruth! That art gallery is a wonderful looking old building. A beautiful sapsucker and that grass photo is terrific! Don't you love when you find something in a photo you didn't know was there? I tried to take photos of a hawk yesterday and totally missed and you got a great one and didn't know it :-) God is good!

  5. Your photos are lovely and the flatness of the land brings back many memories of the year we spent on the prairies while living in Alberta. You live in a beautiful are. I love the picture of the Red-bellied Sapsucker, we only have the Yellow-bellied one here. Thank you for your visits to my blog.

  7. Your photos, Ruth, are so vivid and quite varied - absolutely beautiful. Your library/art gallery looks like it's ready for the holidays with the lights and snow on the trees and ground. Did you take the photo around Christmas time?

  8. I enlarged the photograph with the hawk, really like that photo. The fence, and the hawk make it so peaceful.
