These House Finches were harvesting the abundant seeds.
A Dark-eyed Junco,posing perfectly.
This is a scene from the creek west of Morden.
It was taken a few weeks ago.
The beavers had constructed a small dam here.
I just had to post this even though the color has all left.
This tree was putting on a spectacular show.
I just can't get enough of fall color!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely..
ReplyDeleteHi Ruth. Thanks for the comment about the Bittersweet. I just love it, and wait every Fall for those glorious berries to appear.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are just beautiful. That red tree is so typical, and I hate to see them disappear. The creek shot is similar to the one behind our home with the beaver dam. Right now it has gotten washed away by high water, but I'm sure it will be back.
As for the snow, you can have all you want. We will be getting so much before winter is over. I am a weather watcher for a local TV station, and I keep track of the snowfall. Last year we got over 188" !
Have a wonderful day.
Very scenic and peaceful! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tree color shot! Beautiful! And the creek and birds are great too....isn't fall wonderful?
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping and visiting my blog! I am going to enjoy having a read through yours as well. I much prefer the shot of the Junco that you got to the one I posted! They are the cutest little tubby birds!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful collection of photos. I love the little junco!
ReplyDeleteAll very well done!! Colors are so dramatic and incredibly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour banner is awesome!
