Down The Road Less Traveled

If you should happen to find yourself in the passenger seat of my car be prepared to get off the main roads. A sign that says"Not a Thru Road" only is an invitation to find out why not.
The road we are taking today, has a large sign at the beginning stating that it is not an all weather road.That's ok, as today we do not have 'all weather'. The road is dry, so I see no reason to not check it out.

I read a post by a friend, a little earlier and she mentioned how wonderful blogging is.I so agree.I have met so many wonderful friends on the blog.I only wish I could meet you all in person, but for now, let's head down this road/trail.
I think this stand of trees is lovely at any time of year.

OK, I will confess that I always hope I meet no oncoming vehicle along this road, but those chances are very slim. I've been down here numerous times and have never yet met another soul.

And the road goes on, along the edge of a field As you can see, I took these pictures earlier in the season.

Remember that stand of trees in the first picture. Well, here we are up close and personal with those same trees.

Back home on the computer,I turned this into a black and white.I kinda like that as well.

The Bald Eagle is a bonus picture.I saw it several miles down the road from the rest of the pictures.

I cannot resist getting yet another Bald Eagle shot whenever the opportunity presents itself.
