I may not have the most beautiful flowers in my garden, but I do know where to find some lovely ones.
Today we will take a look at a few flowers seen in the English Gardens in Winnipeg,Manitoba.
At the entrance to the gardens stands this little boy. His boot has been leaking water for a very long time.At least the water is allowed to run back into the little pond there.
Because I don't have proper names for these flowers, all I can say is that they are growing tall and healthy under the tender care they receive.
I was amazed at the many lilies in full bloom at the end of July.It seemed as though each plant was trying to out do the others.
Of course no visit to this garden is complete without at least one rose picture. Oh,I took many more than one but will only share this one today.
You will notice that the gardens were being watered and some of the drops were still clinging to the petals.
The large beds of day lilies were vibrant. I love this dark red one.The sun shining on it gave a beautiful warm glow.
The thought for today is in the form of a song.
Legacy Five sings The Prettiest Flowers.
That will be a wonderful day when we get to experience this.
I should add that this is from several years ago,but the words still are so true.
