I wanted to post this picture to remind us of the good harvest.It is a reminder to be thankful for what God provides.

I think that there is such beauty in these frostscapes.
Nice pictures Ruth, as always. It's really hard for me to tell the difference between the Downy and the Hairy woodpecker. I just posted my sighting for this week on my blog and I may have got that one wrong. Soon I will have pic's so I can get help with my ID's.

You have a lovely new header in anticipation of the season ahead, or perhaps keeping up with it. We are still in our rainy season, +17 C is forecast for Sunday! The wheat(?) field is beautiful. We ived on the Alberta prairies once for a year; many, many years ago.

ReplyDeleteThese are really beautiful and I love the new header! That frost photo is great. I love your brown creeper....I was just trying to decide if a photo I have of one was good enough to use, but it isn't :-) I've only seen one once and it was too far away. Lovely downy shot.

Beautiful series, Ruth. Very pretty harvest picture, and the Downy Woodpecker is so cute and nice to see at the feeders. I like the Brown Creeper - I've been seeing them as well, and they do blend in with their surroundings.
ReplyDeleteRuth, you always seem to put photos together so nicely. I especially like that "frost" photo. That's something we don't see on our windows -- on our rooftops, but not our windows.
