Happy Canadian Thanksgiving !

I just had to show this picture,it is from an old
slide scan,but still appropriate.
All too soon we will have the frost on the leaves again.
Above are a few of the lucky ones.At least for this year the managed to get away.
This scene was taken overlooking the scenic
Pembina Valley. It shows that no matter what year
there is beauty all around.
The picture is an old one
taken by Jake,using slide film.

  3. Ruth,

The photos are beautiful. We don't have many wild turkeys here at present. They seem to have dwindled out. A couple of years ago hundreds died over the harsh winter.

Love the photos. The Pembina Valley is beautiful.

I followed your link from Ruth's blog and enjoyed meeting you and seeing your beautiful photos. Please drop by if you'd like to see some photos of the fall foliage in northern Ontario.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  9. Ruth your eye for a good picture is a delight. I too had a post on frosted leaves in our winter, about July. When God puts frosting on the cake it's worth seeing. I'm glad the turkeys lived to tell the tale and that valley fog splitting the orange trees and golden hillside is really worth stopping for.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
