Silent Night

It's almost Christmas, so it is time to share some Christmas memories.

The pictures I am sharing today were all taken by my husband,Jake. He loved photography long before I became a part of his life. Some of these images may be captured before 1972, but I'm pretty sure none would have been after 1973-1974, so they are all old pictures. I am pretty sure they were originally slides and have been transferred to our computer.

Silent night, holy night

All is calm, all is bright

Round yon Virgin, Mother, Mother and Child

Holy infant so tender and mild

Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night,holy night!

Shepherds quake at the sight!

Glories stream from heaven afar;

Heavenly hosts sing Al-le-lu-ia!

Christ the Savior is born!

Christ the Savior is born!

Silent night,holy night

Son of God,love's pure light

Radiant beams from Thy holy face

With the dawn of redeeming grace

Jesus, Lord at Thy birth

Jesus, Lord at Thy birth.
