Everytime I head out with my camera in hand, the results can be so different. Sometimes I have an idea as to what I'm looking for and at other times, most times actually, I have no particular plans.
Earlier in spring when the birds are becoming more active,it is fun to see just what I can capture.
A drive to the Kaleida marshes can bring a variety of photo opportunities .
There is always the blue Manitoba sky with a few puffy clouds.
That is one of those sights I just don’t get tired of.
On a good day, at least some of the birds will cooperate.
On this particular day, I was able to capture a few images of the Black Terns as they were skimming the water in search of food.
These birds are sleek and fast, so getting good shots is not an easy thing to do.
Another bird that is common at these marshes is the Yellow-headed Blackbird.They are beautiful with that bright yellow head. When they are in flight, the white wing patches are displayed, adding to the beauty.
Of course, as any photographer knows, we are seldom content to get just one picture, because the next one might be that perfect shot.
I like these shots, but will definitely be back there at some time, trying for better shots.
Think About It:
Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones,
you’ll start having positive results.
