Winter Wonderland

I know the title of this post is over-used, but there are no other words to describe the beauty we have had in southern Manitoba recently.
I woke up Saturday to a world covered with hoar frost. I knew that I needed to get out there to capture some of that beauty. When a friend called to ask if I wanted to out with her,I did not have to think twice.
What follows are a few of the photos I got, more will follow in future posts.

It was still foggy, but that seemed to just add to the beauty.

These trees looked amazing in their white frosty dress.

Did I mention that it was still very foggy? Visibility was not very far, but I enjoyed being out there.

There were a few key places I wanted to check out and one of them was this railroad track.

The frost changes the look of these trees, but I think it makes them even prettier.

With the foggy skies this picture is almost tone on tone.,

I hope you enjoyed taking a drive with me and my friend on this foggy, frosty day.By the way, the temperatures were quite pleasant, so that was good.

To Think About:
There is so much beauty in the world, but you must allow yourself to see it.
