Watching the setting sun is an experience I just don't get tired of. The scene changes moment by moment. Here are a few more pictures from April 2 as the sun was bidding farewell to the day.
The trees silhouetted by the setting sun are so soft and pretty.
Just a few wisps of cloud add to the beauty of a sunset.
As the sun drops lower to the horizon the colours deepen.I am amazed at the colour and take a moment to thank my God for giving me this beautiful ending to the day.
A new day dawns and because it is springtime, the birds are returning. This is an exciting time of year. One of the highlights of this season,is the annual Hawk Watch at the Pembina Valley in Manitoba.Watching the hawks and eagles soar in the sky is a thrilling sight.
This mature Bald Eagle is intent on making its away northward to where it will find a mate, nest and raise its young.
Equally beautiful are the many Red-tailed Hawks that pass through the valley each year. The dark belly-band is one of the features used to identify this hawk.
I may well 'NEED' to go to the valley again today. The birds are calling my name.
Someone has said:
Life is like a camera——
Focus on what is important,
Capture the good times.
Develop from the negatives.
And if things don't work out, take another shot.
