Hello Ruth, Beautiful photo of the little hummingbird in flight. We are not quite as south as you, and the hummingbirds (Rufous and Calliope) which stay with us all summer have already left.
You have a wonderful blog - I like the picture of the Western Meadowlark on your sidebar. I can still recall its lovely song when I lived in Manitoba. I grew up in Winnipeg so it's nice to meet someone from Manitoba who is also blogging and interested in nature.
This was one of those special moments for my dear husband,a moment to give thanks to God.
