Jake and I spent several hours at a local Hawk Watch site today.
The temperature was fairly cool but the amount of birds made up for it.
We were able to photograph several Bald Eagles.
The above picture is an immature Bald Eagleand the next one of course a mature Bald Eagle.
Earlier today 'our' Robin returned.
We feed the Robins raisins all summer,and at noon this Robin came
to the window feeder looking for raisins.
We quickly put out some and he came to eat right away.
Unfortunately I did not have my camera ready,so the picture is from another time.

This Common Redpoll is taken on our yard.





Above you can see the different coloration's of the Junco.
Even though these birds are considered to be plain looking
they have such interesting plumage.
